A poem by Kyle Haynes

**Kyle gave me permission to post this poem. I know I'm biased, but I think it is a pretty great poem, especially for a 6th grade boy. He is such a joy to Chad and me!

I LOVE the "I worry about the famine in Africa" line. I mean, when i was 12, I was NOT worried about famine in Africa. I was too worried about more important things, like if I would get invited to the next boy girl dance party and if I would have some new legwarmers to go over my jeans when I went.

Our kids are just way cooler than we were.

Kyle seems like he has been raised wonderfully, and he will be a great supporter to the church
